Book Tour Update

on .

I have to say I have been amazed at the love shared by my customers at my book signings the last few months. To date, I have sold just over 1,000 copies of "The Canvas Adventures."

My wife, Shannon has been instrumental in its success. She is my unofficial publicist and she's great with getting the word out to her friends and family. I'm grateful for her support.

I've also spoken to a few book clubs and hope to speak to more. If you're interested in having me speak to your group, you can contact me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.with the subject: EVENT REQUEST.

Thanks again for going on this journey with me. Remember, 'find the heart of your adventure!'

Saving Christmas

on .

This year, I was blessed to be able to give back in a unique way.  I presented a show called "Saving Christmas."  A play I wrote, directed and presented to children of first responders and children of deployed military.  The show was free for these children but open to the general public.  We raised the money through various businesses in my community to scholarship tickets for these children.

The show told the story of Santa being kidnapped by a team of bandits known as the "Debbie Downers," who all were not fans of the Christmas season.  Our heroes of the story were superheroes and princesses who came to save Santa.  We also invited our audience members to come and be part of the show, too.  It was a lot of fun to see so many children take part in the fun!  Even some adults participated!

Welcome to my Blog!

on .

I am excited to be able to engage with my my readers through a whole new format:  the world of blogging.  Here, I will be able to update readers about the upcoming releases of my next book, my thoughts about current subjects, ramblings about random things and more.  You can also engage with me about the same things.

The most important thing to remember, however is to please keep your comments and postings clean and respectful.  My readers are from all backgrounds.  Any crude, disrespectful postings will be immediately deleted.  Much like those who abuse magic in The Land of Fenton, you will be banished and never invited back.

However, those who do follow the rules will enjoy their time here!  I look forward to hearing what you have to say.

As I tell my readers: find the heart of your adventure!
